Virtual Transition: Staying Connected

With shelter-in-place mandates across the country, Soligent has transitioned to a primarily remote-based workforce. Like many of our industry partners, we consider ourselves to be a close nit group that enjoys meeting for our company-wide weekly Monday morning kick-off. Or standing in line for waffles on Waffle Wednesdays. Or our Friday afternoon break where everyone gathers in our largest conference room to ask about weekend plans and play board/video games.

We miss each other and even though we have our Zoom accounts to see each other during meetings, we missed our friends. The people who make Soligent such a great place to work. We missed the people.

So to see each other more often and take a moment to connect, our IT Team jumped into action. They set up a Zoom meeting for our Friday afternoon break, where we all could once more come together virtually to chat about weekend plans and play fun games. Our current favorite game is QuipLash as you can play it among a very large group of people. But no matter the game, we get that much needed together time.

We hope our that our solar community and friends are finding ways to stay connected during these times.
