Joe Pizur, our Technical Specialist, has been in the solar industry since the early to mid-’90s. You remember right? Back when there was no grid tie option? Joe, a pioneer by heart, has traveled all over the US but has called Nevada home for the last few decades. Living in a rural area, his home operates completely off-grid. Joe is able to connect with our installers on a personal level by understanding the pain points and technical know-how it takes to install and maintain all types of solar systems.
Joe took me through one of his very first installations. A travel trailer located in the middle of a desert with no lights and no water. He learned he had a natural aptitude to help people gain the most basic needs in life. From then on he was hooked.
When Joe isn’t answering calls from our sales team and installers, you can find him at home rebuilding either a motorcycle, a quad, or his own travel trailer. He takes joy in walking with his two faithful dogs every morning and afternoon.
If you’ve enjoyed learning a bit about Joe, like I have, please continue reading the question and answers below.
