Matt spends much of his leisure time outdoors, spending time with his son Aiden, and enjoying good food in his Northern Californian neighborhood. I spend a semester studying abroad in Stratford, England. The experience opened my eyes to different cultures and was the first time I was on my own as an adult. I was able to write, play chess, eat scones, and watch amazing Shakespearean plays in the home of his birth.
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
Catching fish with my son Aiden on a camping trip.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
One of my first professional mentors used to always remind me that “Slow and steady wins the race.”
