Corey Purifoy, Senior Distribution Center Manager, is a dedicated and influential leader here at Soligent. He has spent the past 30 years in various positions – US Military (Army), Manufacturing/Distribution Supervisor, Quality Manager, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Fleet Manager and currently DC Manager for Soligent. Corey has been married to his lovely wife Dana for 23 years. They have 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 very spoiled dog named Sig.
When he is not managing the DC Operations in Orlando, FL, he likes to hang out with his family, golf, camp, travel, watch sports, and cook. His ability to solve problems, offer effective communication and leadership, and deliver quality work make him an outstanding team member, and we are grateful to have him as part of the Soligent family.

What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Get Mad…Then Get over it. Do not let adverse facts stand in the way of making a good decision
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I think about something my mother would always tell me when I got frustrated growing up– God will not give you anything you cannot handle. So, keep your head-up smile and “Getter Done”
What’s a trip that changed you, and why?
A trip I took back in the mid 80’s to South Korea. As a young man it brought me to reality. Appreciate what you have because some of the simple things we may take for granted are cherished in other countries.
What’s one of your favorite memories from the past year?
The opening of the Orlando DC. After shipping out the 1st customer full truck load – The smiles on the faces of the team were priceless. They were so proud and happy to be part of the Orlando Soligent team.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I have jumped out of a perfectly good airplane and rapeled out of a hovering UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, and I am not a big fan of heights.
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
My youngest grandchild that just turned 1 took his 1st steps when we visited early this month.
What’s something—big or small—that you’re really good at?
I am really good at grilling and smoking meat. I have the Cadillac of grills and smokers.
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
From my Command Sergeant Major – when first made my Sergeant strips in the US Army “You are going to get a lot of advice of how to lead from all kinds of people Take that advice and apply what works for you and make your own approach to leadership but ensure to take care of your Soldiers and that no one is more professional than you”

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?
Relax in my backyard by the pool with my wife Dana and drinking something cold

Aaron Franklin – One of the best Pitmasters in the US.

Calm, Loyal and Fun
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Hanging in my Backyard, Golfing, bike riding, watching sports or going to places with Live music
