Loren Zucconi, Sales Manager, is the type of person anyone would want on their team. He is passionate about his work and even goes above and beyond to help out his colleagues, inside and outside of work. With over 16+ years of experience in multiple roles throughout the solar industry, he has demonstrated and proven many sales management skills that he utilizes with his team daily.
Loren currently lives in Oviedo, FL but his hometown is Pittsburgh, PA. He is a Steelers and Penguins fan (“let’s not discuss the Pirates please”). He graduated from Rollins College and was part of the Sandler Sales Presidents Club. He was awarded Employee of the Year while at UMA Solar 2010. His career goal is to retire with 40+ years spent in the solar industry (“and hopefully my kids join my wife and I in the solar industry”).
Loren has many personal interests, hobbies, and side hustles. He is an Assistant Coach for his son’s soccer team. He is an electric vehicle expert, with 6 years of driving EVs and over 75,000 miles under his belt. He designed and installed his own off grid solar system at his home. Lastly, he was a real vinyl DJ a long time ago in Orlando (“My wife said that’s when I was cool”).

What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I reference my dream board and look at the goals I have set for myself
What’s a trip that changed you, and why?
I would have to say my 1st trip to Poland to visit my wife’s family. Seeing the effects of communism and how it impacted my wife and her family was eye opening.
What’s one of your favorite memories from the past year?
My favorite memory was getting to work with Mike Kozlowski again
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I was born on earth day and like to collect numismatic coins
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
My son recently got straight A’s that brought a big smile to my face.
What’s something—big or small—that you’re really good at?
I’m pretty good when it comes to solar industry history
What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?
The best advise I was given was from a great friend of mine who is a great sales person. He once told me sometimes you just have to say, “NEXT” and move on.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
I received a complement from my daughters friend that my head was as shiny as an apple.

I like to read in my spare time -on many different topics.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose?
I’d love to trade places with the president of the US for a day

Attending various children sporting activities or at the grocery store.
