Hedgesville Library & Milestone Solar Bring Renewable Energy to Their Community

The Hedgesville Library project was very important to us for multiple reasons. Since we are a member of the same community, we obviously wanted to win the competitive-bid project. Also, the library is a center of activity for young people in the community with many educational projects like robotics and the environmental importance of renewable energy. We felt fortunate to be selected to deliver the project – especially so when our bid was made up of best-of-class products to include Panasonic modules and SolarEdge inverters and optimizers.

Hedgesville, West Virginia — This library solar system was installed by Milestone Solar, in Berkeley County, offering systems with battery backup and custom engineering on commercial and residential solar systems.

This installation is powered by clean, renewable energy from the 37.18 kW rooftop solar system. The Hedgesville library stands as the center of the community, providing individuals with resources as simple as a wifi connection. Through this solar installation, the library will be able to gather funds from savings in order to give back to their community.

Soligent was able to work with Milestone Solar to supply 111 Panasonic modules, IronRidge racking, and a SolarEdge SE14.4KUS grid-tied inverter.
