Colorado Springs, CO – AC Solar, Inc was founded in 1991 and started off installing small off grid systems in Southern Colorado. With great leadership throughout the years, they have remained consistent in their work of pure solar excellence. Being the jack of all trades, their owner, Beth continues to design, permit and oversee all the installations. AC Solar is in its 30th year and they keep moving through this wild ride with more off grid and battery backup systems than ever.

AC Solar just started installing their first lithium battery back up system using the Phi 3.8kW and 12kW Sol-Ark inverter. This customer bought a grid tie system a number of years ago and due to health issues, needs power when the grid is down. With the internal controller feature on the Sol-Ark and the quickly installed supporting brackets from the LI, the retrofit took a day to install.

Together, we can make a difference. AC Solar and Soligent were able to assist this customer and make them feel confident in a consistent power stream, despite local outages. This system will provide the flow of power in their residence, generate all equipment needed and overall, provide extreme comfort to one dependent on power for health related matters.
