Jonathan Doochin


Jonathan is the CEO of Soligent Holdings Inc. and Soligent Distribution. Jonathan is passionate about making a positive impact on the world. He is a socially conscious leader who works tirelessly and passionately to ensure his company and our thousands of dealers have the resources and tools to be successful. Jonathan has successfully led the rollup, investment in, and growth of nearly a dozen solar companies. He and his partners actively invest funds and human capital know-how into uniquely positioned businesses across the energy sector.

Prior to Soligent Holdings, Jonathan co-founded and led companies in software, automotive, finance, and construction. He co-founded Clark Energy Group, a national ESCO awarded $5B IDIQ contract for renewable energy development projects with the US government. He has also served in the public sector as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy helping lead the deployment of $13B in energy funds. He attended Harvard College and Harvard Business School where he co-founded two different well known leadership institutes to further leadership development and education. He believes that one of the most important things he can do is to help socially minded businesses across the world make a positive impact on the environment. Jonathan spends his spare time hiking, running, traveling, and mentoring.

Ken Lima

EVP of Sales & Operations

Ken is passionate about driving the necessary changes to build a sustainable future, centered around renewable energy adoption. As the EVP of Sales & Operations for Soligent, he leads the Sales, Marketing and Operations teams responsible for helping to enable the success of thousands of Solar Installers across the United States. Ken and the Soligent Team are committed to being a dependable, reliable partner who positions Soligent’s customers to maximize success and achieve their goals.

Prior to joining Soligent’s dynamic team, Ken held senior positions at Tesla and SolarCity, including as Director of Sales, where he supported the customer-facing sales team focused on carrying out Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy throughout Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Previous to his 4 years with SolarCity and Tesla, Ken worked at Best Buy for 14 years. Most recently with Best Buy, he helped launch Best Buy for Education, a strategic initiative to support the rapid adoption of technology in K-12 classrooms across the nation.

In his personal time, Ken enjoys investing time with his wife and three children, coaching youth sports in his local Bay Area community, and facilitating anti-bullying/drug awareness courses in K-12 classrooms.

Eric Von DerMehden

Vice President of Finance

Eric Von der Mehden enjoys the diversity and challenges within the solar market. After taking a bookkeeping class in high school, Eric embraced his love of numbers by majoring in Accounting at Santa Clara University. With over 12 years of experience at large accounting firms such as Ernst & Young and Moss Adams LLP as well as over 15 years in senior management positions at both Korbel Champagne Cellars and Soligent, Eric’s expertise is pivotal to Soligent’s success. On his leisure time Eric enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, traveling, and participating as a member of the Finance Committee for his Alma Mater Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa, CA.

Trevor Cherr

Head of People and Org. Development

With a background in sustainability, Trevor Cherr is passionate about developing safe and sustainable business practices while developing initiatives around company culture and alignment for every member of the Soligent team.

As the Head of People and Organizational Development, he is responsible for designing and driving Soligent's corporate policy, culture initiatives, recruitment and retention strategies, as well as training and talent development. With an education in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Trevor is passionate about employee empowerment and facilitating a supportive and collaborative environment throughout the entire Soligent organization.

Prior to joining Soligent, Trevor held several leadership positions within Human Resources at Vista Outdoor Inc. and CamelBak Products, LLC. where he helped to establish a "Best Place to Work" culture while developing programs focused on employee health and wellness, internal data process improvement, and community activism. Helping to drive positive change, Trevor also led corporate efforts lobbying to advocate for conservation initiatives like the Land and Water Conservation Fund, developed sustainability initiatives including product recycling and LEED certification, and worked to create a culture of diversity and inclusion within the outdoor industry.

In his personal time when he's not cleaning up beaches or trails, Trevor enjoys hiking, paddling, gardening, and traveling with his wife and two rescue dogs.
